This presentation provides a visual assessment of the opportunities available in the revitalization of the Phenix City Riverfront, and the possible revitalization of Riverview Apartments into a mixed income community. Phenix City is poised to take advantage of the redevelopment of the Riverfront to support the new Whitewater opportunities planned with the removal of two dams along the Chattahoochee River creating whitewater through the downtown areas of Phenix City and Columbus within the next two years. The concept plan, summarized in this presentation, was presented publicly at the Chattahoochee Valley Community College on January 29, 2004.
