Approximately 20,000 cars a day cross this connection between Phenix City and Columbus. Capturing the interest of even a small percentage of the commuters will provide a significant market for the downtown corridor. Phenix City is beginning a streetscape enhancement program to support this critical connection and to enhance the connections between Phenix City and Columbus.
