Broad Street Enhancements
Broad Street runs parallel to the Chattahoochee River and is a central part of the downtown district. Current impediments to the revitalization include the speed of the traffic and the width of the highway. Automobiles, not pedestrians, dominate the downtown. Power poles block the scenery and little advantage is taken of the wonderful vistas of the Chattahoochee River just to the east of Broad Street.
